Guest Access
Please make yourself at home and enjoy full access to all living spaces, bedrooms, and the kitchen. Please note that the host cabinet, storage under the stairwell, and the water heater closet are private.

Main Level: - Open-concept great room, with vaulted ceilings where the living, dining and kitchen areas flow together. - Gas fireplace creates a cozy mountain vibe for the entire space. - Fully provisioned cook’s kitchen with granite counter tops. - 2 balconies overlooking Red Cliffs and the forest, perfect for your morning coffee or sunset wine. - Guest bedroom with queen bed, desk and balcony access. - Full bathroom with a tub/shower combo. - TV, games and puzzles for après entertainment. Upstairs Level: - Master bedroom offers a king bed, en-suite bathroom and cozy gas fireplace. - Adjacent to the master is an extra large open loft with 2 full beds and a dedicated workspace. Premium Guest Amenities: - Enjoy a true Ski-In/Ski-Out experience, located steps from the base of Chair 6 (Cornice Express). - Effortlessly store gear in our private first-floor locker and small in unit ski rack. - Warm your equipment with the in-unit boot and glove dryer. - Elevator access makes loading luggage and supplies easy. - Short walk to the Village and Red Cliffs Lodge. - Equipped with high-speed WiFi. - Parking: One dedicated spot in the secure, gated underground garage and one first come, first served, permitted (orange pass) spot directly in front of the building. - EV Charging Note: No charging is available on-site, but stations are offered nearby in the Kirkwood VIP Lot (ChargePoint) and the South Lake Tahoe Supercharger (~30 miles away). Plan Ahead: Kirkwood is a remote area known for its significant snowfall and world-class terrain. Heavy, unpredictable winter weather may cause temporary road closures on Highway 88. - Guests are recommended to monitor the road and check Caltrans Highway 88 updates for the Carson Spur and Carson Pass before traveling. - Road closures could delay unit preparation, as cleaning staff live off-site. If check-in is affected, we will notify you immediately. Our crew will be dispatched once roads are safe, and we will coordinate with you if preparation tasks must be completed during your stay.
Other Details to Note
Please note: For insurance purposes, all guests are required to sign a Rental Agreement and complete a $1,500 security deposit pre-authorization prior to receiving check-in instructions. This is a temporary pre-authorization (hold) on your card and is released after departure provided no damages occur. - Parking: While we offer parking and passes during your stay, after check-out you MUST ensure you have a RESERVE 'N SKI parking reservation to park in Kirkwood lots. Reservations can be made via park Kirkwood website. -KCA: Access to the KCA pool and fitness center is NOT included as they require the homeowner to be present on-site for guest entry.

Kirkwood is a small resort. We're steps away from The Village, Chair 5 and Chair 6. Once parked in our garage most activities and local restaurants are walking distance. There is also a shuttle to take you to Timber Creek (Chairs 7, 9, 12 and 13).
